This Sanctuary window, adjacent to “Coming to Bible Class”, was also completed and installed in 2016. Complimenting the lamb motif in the first window, the cross intersection represents a shepherd’s hook. The hook or crook, a traditional tool of Biblical times, was used by shepherds to manage the sheep of a flock and reminds us Christ is our Shepherd. It’s fitting this fifth window of the design series, and the previous “Coming to Bible Class” overlook the walkway outside the Sanctuary leading to the Sunday School classroom, Children’s Room (nursery) and fenced outdoor play area for the children of Liberty UMC.
